Linda Caperton Fine Art

For over 26 years, Linda Caperton has cultivated her artistic voice in the luminous landscapes of New Mexico. As a dedicated fiber and watercolor artist, her work reflects a deep reverence for the textures, colors, and spirit of the Southwest.

Specializing in nuno felt, hand-dyed silk, and eco botanical printing, Linda transforms natural fibers into wearable art. Her garments—wraps, ponchos, and shawls—are created through a thoughtful fusion of silk and wool, layered and felted together to produce pieces that are both lightweight and richly textured. Through botanical printing and careful dye processes, she captures the organic imprints of leaves and natural elements, allowing the land itself to leave its mark on each creation. Every piece is one of a kind, shaped by hand and guided by an intuitive dialogue with color and form.

In addition to her fiber work, Linda creates original watercolors that showcase iconic Southwest imagery. Her paintings reflect the region’s expansive skies, desert flora, adobe architecture, and shifting light—celebrating the quiet beauty and enduring presence of New Mexico’s landscape.
